New Look to the Sheffield Healthy Schools Website

The Sheffield Healthy Schools website has had a completed refresh over the summer holidays.  You will be able to see a rolling gallery of photographs that were taken to produce a display to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the National Healthy Schools Programme.

We hope that the website is now easier to use and that you will find some resources that are useful for you to use directly with young people in the classroom and some that you may want to borrow from the health library to help make your lessons/125 sessions more interesting and interactive.

Please have a look at the calendar of events in case there is anything that you would like to attend to help you in your role or with your professional development.

You should also be able to find our more about what makes a healthy school and about the next stage of the healthy school process known as the enhancement model.  Please try and make contact with your Healthy Schools Co-ordinator.  The Flower 125 Health Programme contributes to you being a healthy school and may be used as one of the targeted interventions as part of the enhancement model.

There are also lots of useful links to other websites that you may find useful.

Please encourage others to use the website.  Any website is only worthwhile if people are using it! If you have any comments on the website or have any useful resources/information that you would like to share with others, please contact:
