Healthy Schools Team - Learning and Achievement Service, Children and Young People's Directorate

 

 

Lead Professionals

In Sheffield we are fortunate to have 3 Secondary and 10 Primary Lead Professionals to support schools and staff with developments around the Healthy Schools agenda. This includes:

• Supporting staff in developing the PSHE curriculum,including SRE and Drugs education
• Developing SEAL
• Supporting schools gain the Healthy Schools Status
• Running training sessions for staff,parents and governors
• Reviewing and auditing current provision
• Extending,linking and deapening complimentary developments ,such as Philosophy For Children(P4C),massage in schools, and global citizenship
