Walk to School Month
October 2009
Walk to School Month runs throughout the whole of October and is an opportunity not to be missed for promoting walking at your school.
If you aren't yet involved, it still isn't too late! To make sure that you have a really successful Walk to School Month they are providing a range of free resources, including lesson and assembly plans.
For Walk to School Month 2009 the theme is 'Count me in' and the focus is on making walking measurable and helping pupils discover how easy it is to reach the recommended daily 60 minutes of moderate physical activity when walking to school is included.
