Invitation to Phase 1 of Enhanced Healthy Schools

If your school has achieved National Healthy Schools Status then you may be interested in hearing what the next phase of your development will entail.
You and your school are invited to take part in the new Enhanced Healthy Schools Programme which was formally launched in London almost three weeks ago.
This programme will help embed healthy behaviours and well-being outcomes with the everyday activities of school life and has been designed to build upon the foundation work that has been achieved when a school has gained the National Healthy School Status.
The Enhanced Model will better equip schools to promote universal health improvement for all children and young people. It will also provide additional support targeted specifically to those children and young people in challenging circumstances.
The Healthy Schools Enhancement Model (HSEM) will provide vital leadership in translating into practice the Governments vision of the 21st Century School, helping to make this the best country in the world to grow up.
