'Cards for Little Lives'

Go-Givers
A useful interactive website for Teachers, Parents and Pupils
Go-Givers is a leading national programme funded by the Cabinet Office to develop caring, concerned citizens with the confidence and skills to make a difference to their communities, both local and global.
Go-Givers is the Citizenship Foundation's flagship programme for primary schools. The Citizenship Foundation is an independent educational charity which aims to empower individuals to engage in the wider community through education about the law, democracy and society.
Go-Givers extends the SEAL and Healthy Schools programmes into the wider context of society. It addresses many of the requirements of the DSCSF 'Guidance to Promote Community Cohesion' and deals with important issues raised in the UNICEF Commission on the Rights of the Child.
The website contains a varied menu of free, engaging, and interactive citizenship-rich cross-curricular resources. They have been developed in the belief that our children's education should have its basis in a philosophy of personal responsibility, and concern for the world we live in.

TL, Class Teacher, Brighton - "The Go Givers materials do not shy away from covering what can be seen as controversial social issues but in delivering the lessons, thanks to the materials, I knew I did not run the risk of offending anyone."
